The T20 World Cup 2024 is entering its next stage with teams all set to take on each other in the Super Eight round of the multination tournament. If we talk about the structure of the Super Eight stage the teams are divided into two groups of four each. Group One features India, Australia, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan whereas Group Two is composed of host West Indies, USA, South Africa, and England.

The Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup promises to be a keenly contest round as all the teams that have qualified for the Super Eight round are known for there unique abilities in all three departments of the game. For instance, Afghanistan is known for its spin bowling as well as aggressive batting, and Australia on the other hand is known for its never-say-die attitude which has paid them dividends in the past.

Afghanistan
The Rashid Khan-led side looks like a well-rounded unit in all three departments of the game. Known majorly for their spin bowling attack the Afghan fast bowlers have also come to the party which is evident by the fact that fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi is among the top wicket takers of the T20 World Cup 2024.
Given the conditions that have been on offer during the ongoing T20 World Cup if the Afghan batters can post a total of around 180 runs, Afghanistan will have a great chance of causing an upset or two in the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh
The Bangla Tigers have regained their form in T20 cricket with a decent performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup having lost a series to the USA prior to the start of the tournament which might have acted as a wakeup call for the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side. Since then the team has won three out of the four games that Bangladesh has played in the first round of the T20 World Cup 2024 only losing to South Africa by the barest of margins. Having said that Bangladesh needs to fill some of the gaps which have been on display on certain occasions in the four matches that the team has played so far in order to cause an upset in the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup.

USA
The co-host of the T20 World Cup 2024 has been the surprising package of the ongoing edition. Team USA which comprises of majority players of Indian and Pakistani origin has surely punched above their weight and has the chance and capability of causing a few upsets in the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup as the Monak Patel-led side has every base covered in all three department of the game.
If the USA manages to restrict the opposition to a score of around 160 then it has enough firepower to chase the total down.
