The IPL has the most significant global attendance of any cricket competition. It placed sixth in average attendance across all sports leagues in 2014. In 2010, the IPL became the first sporting event to feature a live YouTube broadcast. The game of T20 is quite unpredictable. Therefore, if there is even one run left to score off the penultimate bowl of the innings, hitters take it easy by going for a single. Of course, if the aim is high, the hitters will have to accept that added danger. Throughout the IPL’s history, several players have hit six on the last ball of an inning to aid their side in victories. This article looks at the six Indian players who have so far used a last-ball six to win an IPL game.
