The Delhi Capitals could not play the game just like they wanted to. They have not won the IPL final once. Some days they have performed badly. They have the record of the third-lowest score in the IPL. In 2017, they had to face Mumbai Indians in the 45th game held in Delhi. Delhi Capitals won the toss and went ahead with bowling. Mumbai began with a great start. MI scored 212/3. To beat MI, DC had to perform hard, but they lost 5 wickets in 35 runs and got all out in 66 runs.

The IPL champions Rajasthan Royals lost the toss against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB decided to bat first. Though RCB could not perform well they scored a total of 133/8. It was not a high score for RR but only three batsmen could reach the double figure. No other batsmen from RR could score more than 5 runs. Thus, the batsmen ended the RR score with 58 runs in 15.1 overs and lost by 75 runs.

It is an embarrassment when you get less than 50 runs. RCB got this low score against KKR. RCB won the toss and bowled first. KKR was all out at 131 runs. RCB had an easy chase, but things went downhill. RCB got 49 runs in 9.4 overs and all batsmen were out. There have been several times when the teams lost the plot while planning for the big scores. We saw the list of the teams who have scored very less in the league. The royal challengers are at the top of the list accompanied by the Rajasthan Royals. Delhi has also followed the trend.
