Harshal Patel:

Nation: India 

Harshal Patel, the right-arm medium pacer of India, holds the top position in this list and bagged 32 wickets in the 2021 IPL season while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was the only uncapped player to be on the list. His best performance that season came against Mumbai Indians, where he picked up a hat-trick. With his brilliant performance that season, he got his maiden call-up for the Indian Cricket team. Harshal made his debut in 2013 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Since then, Patel bagged 97 wickets in 78 appearances with an economy of 8.40.

Dwayne Bravo:

Country: West Indies

The legendary all-rounder from West Indies holds the second position on the list with his brilliant performance in 2013 while playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). That season, he bagged 32 wickets and helped his team to reach the final. Even in the final, Bravo had a brilliant performance with the ball and took four wickets against Mumbai Indians.

Bravo made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians in 2008, but after that, he became a legend for CSK. He has a total of 183 wickets from 161 matches with a decent economy of 8.38. MS Dhoni has used him as a specialist death bowler. Bravo recently bid farewell from cricket and was appointed as a bowling coach of CSK.

Kagiso Rabada:

Country: South Africa 

The premium pacer of South Africa holds the third position on this list with his outstanding performance in the 2020 IPL season. Rabada picked up 30 wickets, while he was playing for Delhi Capitals. The South African was a perfect gun for his side that season at every position, his team. The batters couldn’t pick him and got out most of the time, they wanted to play a big shot against him. His brilliant form carried his team to the final of the league. 

Rabada made his debut in IPL for Delhi Capitals in 2018. Since then, he has played 63 IPL matches and bagged 99 wickets with an outstanding economy of 8.26.

Lasith Malinga:

Country: Sri Lanka

The former Sri Lankan Speedster had been a legend of the league. He came out with his best performance in the season of 2011 while playing for Mumbai Indians. He picked up 28 wickets in that season and played a crucial role for his team. The legendary pacer made his debut for Mumbai Indians in the IPL season in 2009. Malinga was famous for his outstanding yorker deliveries. And that ability made him one of the best death bowlers in the world. Malinga bagged 170 wickets from his 110 appearances in IPL.

James Faulkner:

Country: Australia

James Faulkner, the left-arm pacer from Australia, made an impact in the season of 2013 with his bowling. He picked up 28 wickets that season while playing for Rajasthan Royals and gave Dwayne Bravo tough competition for the purple cap. He made his debut in 2011 and played till 2017 in IPL. He played 60 matches and picked up 59 wickets. The versatile ausee all-rounder played his last for Gujrat Lions in 2017.
