Most Dismissals:
- Adam Gilchrist: The majority of a wicket-duties keepers as a batsman were in keeping; any runs the gloveman made were extras. When Adam Gilchrist arrived and dramatically revolutionized the work, everything was different. He was a great keeper against both pace and spin in addition to being a dastardly batsman who could destroy the best bowlers. Adam Gilchrist is thought to hold the record for the most dismissals in one game with 6 in a match in 2003.
- Sarfraz Ahmed: As Pakistan’s captain in June 2017, he led his country to victory in the Champions Trophy. The 2015 record for most dismissals in a game is also held by him with 6 dismissals. Following the 2016 ICC World T20 in India, Sarfraz was selected to lead Pakistan in T20 matches after Azhar Ali resigned as the team’s ODI captain on February 9, 2017.
Most Catches:
- Mohammed Kaif: In a 2003 World Cup game, the player was successful in recording 4 catches to his name. However, he played cricket for India in both Test and One-Day International matches. He was selected for the national squad as a result of his play at the Under-19 level, where he helped the Indian national under-19 cricket team win the Under-19 World Cup in 2000.
- Soumya Sarkar: In a 2015 World Cup game, he reportedly successfully secured 4 catches. Additionally, he and Mohammad Kaif, and Umar Akmal hold the record for making the most catches in a single World Cup game. Soumya Sarkar, however, took part in the 2015 Cricket World Cup for team Bangladesh.
