Bangladesh Premier League Records and Statistics: Sponsorships Of the League

There are seven franchises in the professional cricket competition known as the Bangladesh Premier Competition. It is known as the 16th most-watched premier league match and is one of Bangladesh’s three professional cricket competitions. The league, which typically occurs in November, is believed to have two games between each squad.

Destiny Group was reportedly the initial sponsor and funder of the Bangladesh Premier League. They submitted a 75-million-taka ($1 million) proposal. Prime Bank Limited then took over the role of the league’s main sponsor for BPL, and in the second season he donated over 100 takas million (approximately US$1.5 million). The following year (2015-16) saw BRB Cable, whose sponsorship brought the championship over 1.5 billion taka (approximately US$1.8 million). Subsequently, Abul Khair Steel and Shah Cement, subsidiaries of Abul Khair Industries Limited, have proposed a sponsorship of 22 crore (approximately US$2.6 million) for the 2016/17 academic year. Sponsors for the following season were TVS Motors and United Commercial Bank. The league is said to have two sponsors for the 2022 and 2023 seasons: BBS Cables & Walton and M. M. Ispahani Limited & Minister Group.
