  • Alex Hales (Sydney Thunder): Alex Hales is known as one out of those well-known performers of T20 leagues. He has played 17 games and scored 576 runs at an average and strike rate of 38.40 and 146.93, respectively, also successfully scored 6 half-centuries. 
  • Ben McDermott (Hobart Hurricanes): The cricketer has managed to set excellent records in the last season of Big Bash League (2021/22 season). However, the player has been a part of 13 BBL matches, and successfully managed to score 577 runs at an average of 48.08 and a strike rate of 153.86. Moreover, Ben came to be known as the only player to score two centuries in a single season and was the highest run-scorer in the 11th BBL edition.
  • Mathew Wade (Hobart Hurricanes): Mathew Wade successfully became the highest run-scorer of 2018/19. Also, Mathew has been a part of nearly 15 matches. He managed to score 592 runs at an average of 42.28, and a strike rate of 146.89. Overall, the player has scored 6 brilliant fifties in the league. 
  • D’Arcy Short (Hobart Hurricanes): D’Arcy Short has played 15 matches in the BBL edition of 2018/19. As per reports, he successfully scored 637 runs at an average and strike rate of 53.08 and 140.61, respectively. Furthermore, Short has scored 6 brilliant half-centuries in that season.  
  • Marcus Stoinis (Melbourne Stars): Marcus Stoinis has managed to register 705 runs to his name in 17 matches at an average of 54.23, and a strike rate of 136.62, that include one century and six fifties. He became the maximum run-scorer in a single BBL season.  

Some of the players have been part of the league since the inaugural season, while a few joined the competition later on. But overall, the above-mentioned batsmen have successfully set exceptional records.
