The T20 format has breathed new life into the game of cricket. It has also had a good effect on the other two formats. Batters and bowlers think very differently now because there is more competition in less time. Well, that’s how the game is going, and T20 leagues are where cricket is going next. Many different Twenty20 leagues take place annually all across the globe. On the other hand, Australia’s Big Bash League consistently ranks first. The Big Bash League (BBL) is among the most prestigious cricket competitions.
The number six batsman in the BBL is typically an all-rounder who can adapt his game to any given situation. Even if his team loses wickets quickly, he must remain at the crease to forge a strong relationship with his partner. He should be able to play quickly when necessary and stay at the crease for longer if the top order flops and the team loses four wickets quickly. Moreover, in this article, we will talk about the best 5th-wicket partnerships in BBL history.

Cameron Bancroft and Hilton Cartwright‘s record-breaking partnership Highlight.
Australia’s Sydney Thunder edged Western Australia’s Perth Scorchers by three runs in a nail-biting Big Bash League match in 2018. The great hand of 85 that Usman Khawaja played for Thunder enabled the team to establish a competitive score of 175/4.
When they were chasing the mark, the Scorchers were 35/4; because Cameron Bancroft and Hilton Cartwright combined for 137 runs off of only 85 balls, their team was now within striking reach of claiming victory.
Cartwright struck 65 off 41 deliveries and had a chance to win by hitting a six off the penultimate ball, but he inside edged it for a single instead. Bancroft finished with 75 not out of 56 balls and could not have done much more to bring his team to victory.
But Bancroft and Hilton Cartwright put together an unbroken 137-run stand for the fifth wicket off 85 balls. The Scorchers needed 24 runs off the final six balls to win the match. They opened the over with a four and a six, but Mitchell McClenaghan didn’t bowl a ball that turned the game in their favour and won them the contest. In the end, the home team prevailed over the visiting team by a score of three runs, maintaining their hopes of competing in the finals.
