The second season of the US Masters T10 is just around the corner. Franchises have already selected their squads, featuring T20 stars like Dwayne Bravo, Suresh Raina, Shoaib Malik, Misbah-ul-Haq, James Neesham, Angelo Perera, and Aaron Finch. With 60 available spots, more than 500 cricketers registered for the Player Draft of US Masters T10 Season 2.
Among the selected players are two former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammates of MS Dhoni—Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh. Raina, also known as ‘Mr. IPL,’ will be representing the ‘Chicago Players as their Global Superstar, while Harbhajan Singh will play for Morrisville Unity as their Icon player.
US Masters T10: Key Signings and Team Compositions
The California Bolts entered the Player Draft with players like James Neesham (Icon, New Zealand), Liam Plunkett (Platinum, England), and Colin de Grandhomme (Global Superstar, New Zealand). They also added former India pacer Munaf Patel, Martin Guptill (New Zealand), Manpreet Gony (India), and several others including players from Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the West Indies.
The Detroit Falcons brought in Thisara Perera (Icon, Sri Lanka), Aaron Finch (Global Superstar, Australia), Dawid Malan (England), and others like Rayad Emrit and Angelo Perera. During the draft, they signed Denesh Ramdin (West Indies), Mashrafe Mortaza (Bangladesh), Seekkuge Prasanna (Sri Lanka), and a few others to strengthen their squad.
The Chicago Players secured Suresh Raina (Global Superstar, India) and Parthiv Patel (Icon, India) as part of their core team. Additional players like Isuru Udana (Platinum, Sri Lanka), Kennar Lewis (West Indies), and Anureet Singh (India) were signed before the draft. They also brought in players like Pawan Negi, Jesse Ryder (New Zealand), and Abhimanyu Mithun during the draft.
US Masters T10: Star Players of the Tournament
Suresh Raina who retired after scoring 5,528 runs in 205 IPL matches, including one century and 39 fifties, will be a key figure in the US Masters T10 tournament. Harbhajan Singh, who claimed 150 wickets in 163 IPL matches, will also be a crucial player for his team.
The New York Warriors announced a strong squad with Misbah-ul-Haq (Icon, Pakistan), Shaun Marsh (Platinum, Australia), and Dwayne Bravo (Global Superstar, West Indies) leading the way. They further strengthened their squad by adding Mohammad Hafeez (Pakistan), Ben Dunk (England), and Imran Tahir (South Africa).
The Atlanta Riders made key signings including Nurul Hasan Sohan (Icon, Bangladesh), Shoaib Malik (Global Superstar, Pakistan), and Ravi Bopara (Platinum, England). They also drafted players like Ricardo Powell (West Indies), Kamrul Islam Rabbi (Bangladesh), and Hamilton Masakadza (Zimbabwe).
US Masters T10: Morrisville Unity Squad
Morrisville Unity signed Harbhajan Singh (Icon, India) and Chadwick Walton (Platinum, West Indies) before the draft. Other notable signings include Ashley Nurse (Global Superstar, West Indies) and Obus Pienaar (South Africa). They further added players like Rumman Raees (Pakistan), Upul Tharanga (Sri Lanka), and Yogesh Nagar (India) to their squad during the draft.
