Captain Suryakumar Yadav played an innings of 21 runs while Tilak Verma scored 33 runs in 18 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. Rinku Singh returned to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs while Hardik Pandya was dismissed on a personal score of two runs. For South Africa, Gerald Coetzee took three wickets for 37 runs in four overs.
South Africa team all out for just 141 runs
The South African team, which came out to chase the target, was all out for 141 runs. The team did not have a good start and their wickets kept falling at regular intervals. For the hosts, Heinrich Klaasen scored 25 runs. He was the highest run scorer for his team. Apart from Klaasen, Gerald Coetzee scored 23 runs while Ryan Rickelton contributed 21 runs.
For India, Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets each while Avesh Khan took two wickets. Arshdeep Singh took one wicket. Team India is leading 1-0 in the four-match T20 series.
