In a remarkable turn of events, Pakistan ended a drought of over five years and etched their chapter in history with a stunning 10-run triumph over New Zealand in the second T20I of their series on Tuesday.
The revitalized Pakistan team compiled a competitive total of 137/6 in their 20 overs, showcasing excellent bowling skills to restrain the hosts and secure a series-clinching victory, as reported by ICC.
This victory marks Pakistan’s first-ever T20I series win against the White Ferns, creating a historic milestone. Additionally, it stands as their first T20I series triumph away from home since their conquest against Bangladesh in October 2018.

The win was well-deserved, as the visitors received impactful contributions with the bat from Muneeba Ali (35), Aliya Riaz (32*), and former captain Bismah Maroof (21). These performances contributed to a commendable total after being sent into bat by the Kiwis.
Left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal played a pivotal role, removing Bernadine Bezuidenhout (2) and Amelia Kerr (2), reducing New Zealand to 9/2 in reply.
