He made his debut in 1989 at the age of 16 and later became a prodigy to be known as the ‘God of Cricket’ years later.

Although the match between England and India got a final result of a draw at the end, the young master blaster portrayed his talent in the much-needed situation for India and later succeeded in being the only individual to score 100 international centuries in his cricket career.
Sachin Tendulkar retired in 2013 from international cricket.0; till his retirement, he played a total of 200 test cricket matches for India, which is so far the highest by any individual. Sachin made 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78, with 51 centuries and 68 half-centuries to his name.
He also played 463 ODIs, scoring a massive 18,426 runs at a remarkable average of 44.83 and a soothing strike rate of 86.23. Out of these matches, he scored a total of 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries in ODIs, with the best score of 200*. He is the first batsman in international cricket to score a double hundred in an ODI, which came in 2010 against South Africa.
Sachin Tendulkar is the highest scorer in both formats; in a total of 664 matches, his scores sum up to 34,357 runs at an average of 48.52 and a strike rate of around 67. He is the leading scorer in international cricket history and the only batsman to have scored 100 centuries.
