The Washington Freedoms faced a tough start in their chase against the Seattle Orcas in the MLC 2024. They lost their explosive opener, Travis Head for a golden duck in the very first over to Pakistan’s experienced spinner Imad Wasim.
But the setback did not faze the next batsman young Rachin Ravindra who belonged to the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He launched a counter-attack spectacularly taking down Imad Wasim in the next over itself.

Sensing his dominance, Ravindra was not done yet. He finished the over in style, lofting a full toss from Wasim over extra cover for another towering six. This 18-run over by Ravindra not only put the pressure back on the Orcas but also gave the Freedoms a much-needed boost in their chase.
