IPL 2025: Sunday, May 18, had two matches in the IPL 2025. The first game was between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The second match was between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT), held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
In the first match of the day, Punjab Kings won the toss and chose to bat. Thanks to great innings from Nehal Wadhera (70 from 37 balls), Shashank Singh (59* from 30), and Azmatullah Omarzai (21* from 9), they scored a huge total of 219/5. Rajasthan Royals found it tough to bowl, but Tushar Deshpande did well, taking 2 wickets for 37 runs.

While chasing, Rajasthan got good scores from Yashasvi Jaiswal (50), Dhruv Jurel (53), and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (40), but they fell short and ended at 209/7. Harpreet Brar (3 wickets), Marco Jansen (2), and Azmatullah Omarzai (2) bowled effectively to help Punjab Kings win by 10 runs.
In the second match, Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bowl. Their bowlers did a solid job, holding Delhi Capitals to 199/3, even though KL Rahul played a fantastic unbeaten knock of 112 runs.
While chasing, Sai Sudharsan (108*) and Shubman Gill (93*) made it look easy, smashing the DC bowlers all over the ground. GT reached the target in just 19 overs and won the match by 10 wickets.
