IPL 2025: On Monday, May 19, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) played against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 61st match of the IPL 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
SRH won the toss and decided to bowl first. However, the decision didn’t work out well at the start, as Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram batted aggressively and scored quickly.
Marsh scored 65 runs from 39 balls, and Markram made 61 from 38 balls. But Rishabh Pant struggled again and was out for just 7 runs. In the middle and lower order, only Nicholas Pooran played a good innings, scoring 45 runs, while the rest of the batters couldn’t contribute much.

Lucknow Super Giants scored 205/7, with SRH bowlers Eshan Malinga, Harsh Dubey, Harshal Patel, and Nitish Kumar Reddy taking wickets.
In reply, SRH lost Atharva Taide early, but Abhishek Sharma smashed 59 off 20 balls. Ishan Kishan (35), Heinrich Klaasen (47), and Kamindu Mendis (32) helped SRH chase the target in 18.2 overs, winning by 6 wickets.
