IND vs SL: The Charith Asalanka-led Sri Lankan cricket team suffered a humiliating defeat in the 3-match T20I series against the Indian cricket team, who handed them a clean sweep. The Sri Lankan cricket team managed to disappoint their fans as they collapsed during the crucial moments in the games despite being in a strong position.
While they lost the first T20I match by 30 runs, they lost the second game by 31 runs. The Lankans failed miserably to chase down the target of 138-run target despite being 110-1 at one stage. The game went to a Super Over thriller, where India won.

IND vs SL: Matheesha Pathirana And Dilshan Madushanka Ruled Out Of 3-Match ODI Series
The team will be looking forward to making a comeback in the upcoming 3-match ODI series against India. However, ahead of the much-awaited ODI series, Sri Lanka has suffered a big blow as their superstar fast bowlers Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka have been ruled out of the upcoming 3-match IND vs SL ODI series, because of their respective injuries.
Matheesha Pathirana injured his shoulder while fielding during the third and final T20I match against the Indian cricket team in Pallekele on Tuesday, July 30. After hurting himself, Pathirana had to leave the field soon and he didn’t return. He didn’t bowl a single delivery after getting hurt in the game.
On the other hand, according to the latest updates, Dilshan Madhushanka sustained a hamstring injury during a practice session. Dilshan’s injury has added more to the Sri Lankan pacers’ woes.
For the unversed, the Sri Lankan cricket team has suffered major setbacks in its fast-bowling line-ups. While Dushmantha Chameera and Binura Fernando missed the 3-match T20I series against India because of illness, on the other hand, Nuwan Thushara broke his fingers. She was dropped from the team due to the injury. Now ahead of the much-awaited ODI series, Sri Lanka has suffered major blows as two more bowlers have injured themselves.
