GT20 Canada: The Toronto Nationals clinched the GT20 Canada title emphatically securing a mind-blowing eight-wicket victory over the Montreal Tigers in the finals.

Toronto’s bowlers laid the foundation for the triumph, restricting Montreal to a low 96 runs. Jason Behrendorff and Romario Shepherd scored three and two wickets, respectively, to dismantle the Tigers’ batting lineup.

Chasing the small target, the Nationals batters made light work of the chase, reaching the final total with eight wickets and five overs left. Andries Gous and Rassie van der Dussen anchored the innings with composed half-centuries, ensuring a comfortable victory.
