Ireland’s men’s squad is in England for a one-off test match versus the host team. The Test match is set to begin on June 1st, 2023, and will last until June 5th, 2023.

The two teams will compete in a one-off Test match at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Ben Stokes will skipper the English team, which will feature the promising Harry Brook and Ben Duckett pair.

Jonathan Bairstow is also making a comeback, which increases the likelihood of England smashing the visitors in the Only Test Match.

When it comes to bowling, James Anderson’s participation in the Test Match is in doubt due to a groin strain that he is nursing. The injury to Jofra Archer adds to the team’s management’s stress. Ollie Robinson, on the other hand, has been cleared to join the squad after ankle tests revealed no life-threatening injuries. Along with Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, and Matthew Potts, he is expected to lead the bowling attack.

Andy Balbirnie, on the other hand, will skipper Ireland. They will miss out on players like Joshua Little. He just played in the 2023 IPL and represented Gujarat Titans in the Finals on June 29th.

Ireland dominated the practise match against Essex, winning by a score of 10 wickets. Lorcan Tucker and Paul Stirling appeared to be in fine form, scoring 97 and 107 runs in the first innings, respectively. Thomas Mayes took 7 wickets in the game and appears to be a promising potential for the upcoming Test Match.
