Good news for all cricket fans, a big update has come out regarding the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025. According to the proposed schedule, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Team India will be in Group A while Group B will have England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan.
Many people are eagerly waiting for the Champions Trophy 2025 tournament. This tournament is to be played in the month of February next year. However, a big update is coming regarding this tournament. A delegation of the International Cricket Council will visit Lahore from 10 to 12 November to take stock of the arrangements for the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy.
Important update on Champions Trophy 2025
An important event related to the Champions Trophy 2025 is also expected during this tour in which the schedule of this event can be announced. According to sources, the schedule of the tournament has been shared with the people of the countries who will participate in it. The official event can be organized by the ICC on November 11 to which many famous personalities and cricketers will be invited.
According to the proposed schedule, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Team India will be in Group A while Group B will have England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. Talking about Team India, nothing can be said right now about whether the team will tour Pakistan for the upcoming tournament or not. The BCCI has left the decision on this thing to the Government of India.
The Champions Trophy 2025 will be played from February 19 to March 9 while March 10 will be the reserve day. These matches will be played in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi. 7 matches will be hosted in Lahore including the final. Apart from this, the opening match and one semi-final will be played at the Karachi National Stadium. The semi-finals will be played on March 5 and March 6 while the final will be held in Lahore on March 9.
