The case took a deeper turn when celebrities and owners were involved in illegal betting and gambling activities. Therefore, strict action was taken against the players, and two teams, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, were suspended from the tournament for two years.

2. MS Dhoni’s Heated Argument with the Umpire (2019)

MS Dhoni is known for his calm and composed behavior. However, during a game played by Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the year 2019, MS Dhoni surprised everyone with his behavior. MS Dhoni’s team was in a dire need of runs as they had to chase the opponent’s score.

The team required 18 runs in the final over of the game. The umpires signaled a no-ball; however, they later changed the decision after consulting the square-leg umpire.
