A test match is won by bowling out ones adversaries twice. As a consequence, wicket-taking bowlers are extremely valuable. Batsmen set the tone for Test matches, but bowlers win them for their teams. A batsman’s dismissal is referred to as taking a wicket. If the exclusion falls into one of the forms for which the bowler receives credit, the batsman is said to have dropped his wicket, the batting side is said to have dropped a wicket, the fielding side is said to have taken a wicket, and the bowler is also said to have taken his (i.e. the batsman’s) wicket.

Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan made his test debut in 2007 against India. His turning point came against New Zealand in the Chittagong Test in 2008. He ended up taking 7/36, the best figure ever by a Bangladeshi bowler. Shakib ended up scoring 237 runs, including three fifties, and took six wickets in the 2012 Asia Cup. Shakib Al Hasan has 231 wickets in 65 matches, placing him first among the top five Bangladeshi bowlers with the most wickets in the TEST cricket format.
Taijul Islam
After a strong domestic season in 2013-14, Taijul was selected for Bangladesh A, and he made his Test breakthrough for Bangladesh during the 2014 West Indies tour. On his debut, he took five wickets, and later that year, when Zimbabwe began touring Bangladesh, he took 8/39, the highest statistics by any Bangladeshi at Test level. Taijul Islam has 166 wickets in 40 matches, placing him second among the top five Bangladeshi bowlers with the most wickets in the TEST cricket format.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz
On October 20, 2016, Miraz made his Test debut against England. Despite being an off-break bowler, he chose to bowl first in his first Test innings. Ben Duckett, another opening batsman in the same Test match, became his first Test wicket. He went on to become the seventh and youngest Bangladeshi player to take five wickets on Test debut. Mehidy Hasan Miraz has 146 wickets in 37 matches, placing him third among the top five Bangladeshi bowlers with the most wickets in the TEST cricket format.
Mohommad Rafique
Mohammed Rafique, born on September 5, 1970, was a former Bangladeshi cricketer and coach. He became the first Bangladeshi bowler to reach 100 Test wickets. Rafique, a slow-left-arm orthodox bowler, was one of only a few Bangladeshi cricketers to make the ICC bowler ranking list’s top fifty. He rose to prominence as a regular member of the national team and a cultural icon in Bangladesh. He took 100 wickets and ended up scoring 1000 runs in both configurations. Rafique, one of Bangladesh’s most pro players, was previously known for his skill sets in one-day internationals. Despite this, he was selected to play in Bangladesh’s first Test against India, where he took three wickets. Mohammad Rafique took 100 wickets in 33 matches, placing him fourth among the top five Bangladeshi bowlers who have taken the most wickets in the TEST cricket format.
Mashrafe Mortaza
With 49 ODI wickets, Mortaza was the world ‘s leading ODI wicket-taker in 2006. In the 2007 Cricket World Cup match against India, he was designated Man-of-the-Match. Mortaza took four wickets in that game, which knocked India out of the group stage. While captaining his team, Mortaza became the fifth bowler in history to take 100 ODI wickets. Mortaza has taken 78 wickets in 36 matches, placing him fifth among Bangladeshi bowlers who have taken the most wickets in the TEST cricket format.
