In the T20 World Cup 2024 against Bangladesh, Afghanistan opted to bat first, with openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran providing a solid foundation. Apart from both operators, Afghanistan’s middle order did not perform well and Gurbaz scored 43 runs in 55 balls and Zardran scored 18 runs in 29 balls. Bangladesh Falters: Litton Das Fights a Lone Battle

The Bangladesh team came out to chase 115 runs. Only one batsman could give a tough fight to the Afghan bowlers, Litton Das, who remained unbeaten till the end and scored 54 runs in 49 balls. Apart from him, no other batsman could stand in front of the Afghan bowlers.
