Tuesday’s third Twenty20 International (T20I) between India and West Indies was won by Suryakumar Yadav’s match-winning innings. Fans and several previous cricketers praised Surya’s batting, but his wife received an unanticipated and interesting message from Ishan Kishan after the game.
During his post-match interview with Surya, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman was overheard making a humorous request.
Surya’s wife, Devisha, is a familiar face in the stands, but she reportedly did not attend twice to watch her husband play for Team India. Surprisingly, it has been shown that Surya played two magnificent knocks on these two instances.
During the humorous interview, Ishan pointed out these two matches and made a humorous request. “Devisha Bhabhi, please continue to pay our lodging costs, and make sure your attendance is late for the upcoming matches,” Ishan was quoted as saying in media.
Additionally, the 24-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman requested Surya’s opinion on the situation. In his response, Surya stated that it makes no difference whether his partner is present or not.
Of special knock, learnings & an anecdote 💪 😃

“What is significant is that they are with you. She is in this country, and I have her name tattooed on my arm. So she is close to my heart regardless of her physical location. “Eventually she will arrive, and her power will flow into the ground,” Surya stated.
In July, Surya’s wife Devisha was absent from the stands for India’s third Twenty20 International against England. The Mumbai-born batsman delivered a spectacular inning in the match, scoring 117 runs off of just 55 deliveries. In pursuit of a phenomenal total of 216, he had shattered 14 boundaries and six over bounds.
Devisha was also absent from the venue for Tuesday’s third Twenty20 international against the West Indies. Surya’s amazing innings in that game helped his team secure a critical seven-wicket victory. Surya hit 76 runs off of only 44 deliveries as India won the match and took a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series.
Surya, who opened the batting in the first two T20Is, had failed to contribute much. The Indian team management was heavily criticised for selecting Surya as the opener. The decision appears to have paid off when the 31-year-old batsman performed a match-winning innings in the third Twenty20 international.
On Saturday, the fourth Twenty20 International between India and West Indies will take place at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Florida.
