Australia Women also hold the record for the most wins in Women’s T20 World Cup history. They have played 49 matches across nine editions and have won 39 of them.
The most impressive part is that Australia have lost only nine matches in the tournament’s history, while one match ended in a tie. Their win percentage stands at 80.61%, which is well ahead of second-placed England at 75.0%.
3. Biggest Victory (114 Runs) – England Women

England Women hold the record for the biggest win in Women’s T20 World Cup history. They defeated Pakistan Women by 114 runs in Cape Town during the 2023 tournament.
England scored 213/5 after batting first and set a target of 214. Pakistan could only manage 99/9 in reply and suffered a heavy 114-run defeat.

England Women also hold the record for the highest team total in Women’s T20 World Cup history. They scored 213/5 against Pakistan at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town on February 21, 2023.
In that match, Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 81* off 40 balls and Danni Wyatt-Hodge made 59 off 33 balls, helping England post a historic total. Pakistan could only reach 99/9 in their chase.
5. Lowest Total (46/10) – Bangladesh Women
Bangladesh Women hold the unwanted record for the lowest total in Women’s T20 World Cup history. They were bowled out for just 46 while chasing in a match at Providence Stadium, Guyana, during the 2018 edition.
In that match, West Indies Women, led by Stafanie Taylor, scored 106/8. Chasing 107, Bangladesh were dismissed for only 46 runs.
6. Highest Successful Run Chase (165/2) – England Women
England Women hold the record for the highest successful run chase in Women’s T20 World Cup history. They chased down a target of 164 against Australia in the semi-final of the 2009 edition at The Oval.
Australia, led by Karen Rolton, scored 163/5. England reached 165/2 with three balls remaining, thanks to Claire Taylor’s unbeaten 76 off 53 balls. England later defeated New Zealand in the final to win the first-ever Women’s T20 World Cup title.

New Zealand Women hold the record for defending the lowest total in Women’s T20 World Cup history. They successfully defended 91 runs in a Group A match in Melbourne during the 2020 edition.
New Zealand were bowled out for 91, with Rachel Priest top-scoring with 25 off 32 balls. Bangladesh batted even worse and were dismissed for 74 in 19.5 overs.
