Domestic T20 Career and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

As a player who had previously played very little domestic T20 cricket, Mayank Rawat had a lot of chances in T20 cricket in domestic competitions.

Throughout the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Mayank helped his team by getting important wickets with his off-break bowling and coming through with some valuable lower-order runs (useful cameos) when batting down the order to lead the team through tight finishes.

Given Mayank’s low economy and high strike rate when batting, he can be viewed as one of the best all-rounders available in the T20 game today. Mayank Rawats Performance in Delhi Premier League 2025: Mayank Rawat had an exceptional impact with both bat and ball while playing for the East Delhi Riders in 2025 during the Delhi Premier League (DPL).

Typifying his consistent performances throughout the Delhi Premier League 2025, Mumbai Indians signed him into the squad as a developmental prospect while also being considered a possible future all-rounder option.

Mayank Rawat’s Type of Game

With the ability to bat quickly from the middle order, Mayank Rawat bats right-handed and has the ability to make quick scores at the batting base. He discounts his off-breaks at both the power-play and in the middle; and most importantly, he looks to be a quick fielding player which is a big benefit when playing T20 cricket.
