Pakistan lost Sahibzada Farhan early for just 1 run, but Mohammad Haris took charge with a blazing century, reaching 100 in just 45 balls. He added 92 runs with Saim Ayub (45 off 29) and an unbeaten 60 with Salman Agha (15*) to chase down 197 in just 17.2 overs. Hasan Nawaz also chipped in with 26 off 13 balls, thrilling the 30,000-strong crowd at Gaddafi Stadium.

Earlier, Parvez Hossain (66 off 34) and Tanzid Hasan (42 off 32) gave Bangladesh a flying start with a 110-run opening stand, helping them post 196/6 – their highest T20I total against Pakistan. Towhid Hridoy (25) and Litton Das (22) added 49 for the third wicket.

Abbas Afridi (2/26) and Hasan Ali (2/38) were Pakistan’s best bowlers.
