RCB vs KKR, IPL 2025: In the first match after the IPL 2025 break, Rajat Patidar’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were set to play against Ajinkya Rahane’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 17.

However, heavy rain was expected before the game, and those predictions turned out to be true. The toss was delayed due to nonstop rain, and after waiting for hours, the match was officially called off at 10:24 PM.

With the game being washed out, defending champions KKR are now out of the playoff race, while RCB are almost certain to qualify for the playoffs.
