The IPL 2025 Points Table was shaken significantly after a double-header on Sunday, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) recorded emphatic wins over Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), respectively.
RCB Overwhelms DC to Move to No. 1 in IPL 2025 Points Table

Royal Challengers Bengaluru climbed to the number one position on the IPL 2025 Points Table with a dominating six-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This win took RCB’s points tally to 14 out of 10 matches, and they have an impressive record of six successive away victories this season. Their consistency on all grounds has earned them one of the best teams of the current tournament.
Mumbai Indians Sail Past LSG, Move to Third Position

Earlier today, Mumbai Indians, led by Hardik Pandya, registered a comprehensive 54-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium. The victory propelled MI to third position in the table. They are now on equal points with Gujarat Titans but lag slightly due to a lower Net Run Rate (NRR).
Delhi Capitals Slip Further After Crushing Defeat

The six-wicket defeat at the hands of RCB put a dent in Delhi Capitals’ playoff chances, as they remain in the lower half of the IPL 2025 Points Table. With the tournament reaching its critical stage, each match is now a must-win for DC to remain in the qualification mix.
What’s Next for the Teams?
RCB will seek to continue their winning run when they take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 3 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, will seek redemption against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 29 at their home ground, the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
