IPL 2025: On Sunday, April 13, there were two matches in the 2025 Indian Premier League. In the first game, Rajasthan Royals played against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Jaipur. After that, Delhi Capitals faced Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
IPL 2025 Match Recaps: RR vs RCB & DC vs MI
Rajasthan Royals lost badly to RCB by 9 wickets at home. Batting first, RR scored 173/4 in 20 overs, with Yashasvi Jaiswal making 75 off 47 balls. Riyan Parag (30) and Dhruv Jurel (35) also chipped in. In response, RCB chased the target in under 18 overs. Phil Salt (65) and Virat Kohli gave them a strong start with a 92-run opening stand.

Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal finished the chase with an unbeaten 83-run partnership. Kohli stayed not out on 62, while Padikkal made 40.

In the second match, Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by 12 runs. MI scored 205/5 while batting first. Tilak Varma led the way with 59 off 33 balls. Ryan Rickelton (41), Suryakumar Yadav (40), and Naman Dhir (38*) also made key contributions.
Chasing 206, DC was in a strong position at 119/1 in the 11th over but then collapsed. Karun Nair, playing his first IPL game since 2022, scored a brilliant 89 off 40 balls, but the rest of the batters couldn’t support him. DC was bowled out for 193.
