RCB To Go Green For IPL 2025 Clash vs Rajasthan Royals

IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will wear a special green jersey for their match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The game will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, April 13.

RCB, a carbon-neutral T20 team, began its environmental initiative at their home stadium to engage fans throughout the season. They aim to involve fans in their mission of becoming carbon-positive.

RCB’s sustainability efforts are detailed and data-driven. They regularly perform carbon audits to track their environmental impact and conduct surveys to measure their carbon footprint. During the toss, RCB captain Rajat Patidar will also give a sapling to RR captain Sanju Samson.

RCB’s COO, Rajesh Menon, explained that the green jerseys are more than just a symbol. He said that with this initiative, they want to use the cultural and social influence of RCB to raise awareness about environmental issues. Speaking about the same, he said:

RCB’s IPL 2025 Journey So Far
