Official announcement of Mahmudullah’s retirement

Mahmudullah announced his retirement through Facebook (social media). He expressed his gratitude for the support and opportunities he received during his career. He said, “I have decided to retire from international cricket. I want to thank my teammates, coaches and fans. I thank my parents, my in-laws and especially my brother Imdad Ullah, who always stood by me.”

He further said, “The end of everything is not always right, but we have to move forward.” He also thanked his family and children, who stood by him in every difficult phase of his life.
