MS Dhoni’s Subtle Reaction Video to Chandrayaan-3’s Historic Moon Landing Takes the Internet by Storm

MS Dhoni’s calm reaction to India’s Chandrayaan-3 moon landing captivates the internet. Watch the video as Dhoni celebrates in his unique style.

The epitome of calmness, MS Dhoni, famously known as ‘Captain Cool,’ demonstrated his trademark composed demeanor in a recent viral video. Even beyond the cricket field, Dhoni’s unruffled disposition remains intact, as evidenced by his response to India’s historic Chandrayaan-3 moon landing.

As India’s Chandrayaan-3 achieved a groundbreaking lunar touchdown, the nation collectively held its breath to witness the momentous event. Similarly, Dhoni, along with millions of Indians, was engrossed in watching the television screen. However, when the historic moment finally materialized at 6:04 pm (IST), as India’s lunar probe successfully touched down on the uncharted south pole of the moon, Dhoni’s reaction was typically understated.

In the video that took the internet by storm, Dhoni, dressed in a tank t-shirt and shorts inside a gym, can be seen casually applauding his thigh, even as those around him erupted into enthusiastic applause. It’s not that Dhoni lacked excitement; his composed demeanor is simply his nature.

The seven-second clip, though not revealing Dhoni’s face, was enough to identify the cricket legend and captivate fans worldwide.

In another video, Dhoni’s daughter, Ziva, was captured celebrating India’s moon mission. In contrast to her father’s subtlety, Ziva’s joy was more evident.

Even the Indian cricket team, currently in Ireland for a T20I series, joined the celebration. Photos and videos of players like Jasprit Bumrah watching the moment before their scheduled match in Dublin went viral. Although the match was canceled due to rain, the heartwarming visuals of Indian cricketers commemorating the moon landing left a lasting impression.

Chandrayaan-3, composed of the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan, made a successful soft landing on the lunar south pole at 6:04 pm. India now joins the US, China, and the erstwhile Soviet Union as the fourth nation to achieve soft-landing technology on the moon.

With its soft landing accomplished, the rover module is set to undertake a 14-day mission, performing experiments mandated by ISRO scientists. These experiments are designed to enhance our understanding of the lunar surface.

Having completed its role in ensuring a secure touchdown, the ‘Vikram’ Lander has paved the way for the most challenging phase of the mission. The rover ‘Pragyan,’ housed within the lander module, is poised to conduct a series of experiments on the moon’s surface in the coming days.
