Bumrah has always been the go-to bowler for captain Rohit Sharma as he has never failed to deliver in crunch situations.
Rohit Sharma- India
Indian captain Rohit Sharma played some aggressive cricket for India that helped the team in posting a good total on the board. His 92 against Australia was the third-highest score of the tournament. His 57 against England was crucial in helping India post an above-par total in the semi-final. Rohit scored 257 runs in seven matches of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Heinrich Klaasen- South Africa
Heinrich Klaasen made several crucial matches for South Africa in pitches that were not in favour of batters. Against Bangladesh, his 44-ball 46 helped South Africa to a winning total of 113. In the final match against India, he almost won the World Cup trophy for South Africa, where he went all guns blazing against the spinners. His 52 of 27 could nearly had the game in South Africa’s way.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz- Afghanistan
Gurbaz was the top-scorer in the tournament with 281 runs and one of two batters apart from Rohit Sharma to score three 50-plus scores. Gurbaz knock of 80 and 60 against New Zealand and Australia respectively, helped Afghanistan clinch two big victories.

Nicholas Pooran- West Indies
Nicholas Pooran showed consistency with his bat in major parts of the tournament. He scored 228 runs from seven innings at the strike rate of 146.15. The 53-ball 98 which helped West Indies post a huge target of 218 against Afghanistan. It was the highest individual score of the T20 World Cup 2024 and highest team total of the tournament.
