The third T20I in the current ZIM vs NZ Tri-series 2025 will be hosted at the Harare Sports Club on Friday, July 18. New Zealand, having begun on a high and Zimbabwe on a revival mission, spectators are in for an exciting encounter.
New Zealand Looks to Keep Momentum Going in ZIM vs NZ Tri-series

New Zealand began their Tri-series with a solid victory over South Africa. Even though their top order failed spectacularly with four of the top seven batsmen being dismissed for single figures, young blood Tim Robinson and Bevon Jacobs came to the rescue with brilliant performances.

In bowling, Jacob Duffy shone with 3/20, ably supported by Matt Henry, and veteran spinners Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner. Their all-around capability and control were pivotal in clinching the victory.
Zimbabwe Seeks Redemption After Opening Loss

In contrast, Zimbabwe had a difficult ride in their first-round game. Although Sikandar Raza contributed a brave unbeaten 54, Zimbabwe could not muster the ability to compete with South Africa. The early Zimbabwean lineup struggled with Lungi Ngidi and Nandre Burger’s pace and was unable to have a look in earlier in the match.
The bowling unit also displayed flashes of brilliance, particularly Richard Ngarava (3/35) and Trevor Gwandu (2/15). However, a lack of consistency permitted the opposition to chase the target with ease.
