Gujarat Titans pacer Yash Dayal made an apology via his social media profile on Monday (June 5) after receiving widespread criticism for his contentious Instagram post.

The left-arm bowler, who last played in the IPL 2023 in May, posted a picture on his Instagram account that sparked outrage and considerable condemnation. Dayal posted a communal image that was meant towards a specific faith, and individuals from all communities condemned the player for such a foolish post.

People with common sense chastised the player for making such a foolish remark in the first place, especially coming from someone who has played international-level franchise cricket and is recognized as an influencer with over 1 lakh followers.
