Watch: Mitchell Starc stands in queue outside stadium ahead of women’s ashes, wins hearts

Mitchell Starc, an Australian pacer, is a deadly bowler who confuses opponents with his pace, precession, and bounce. Off the pitch, he is also a wonderful human being.

He took part in the opening Test of England’s ongoing Ashes series against Australia. Although the pacer will not be a popular figure in England following Australia’s triumph at Edgbaston, he certainly won hearts with his off-field performance on Thursday (June 22).

Mitchell Starc is married to Alyssa Healy, the captain of the Australian women’s squad during the women’s Ashes. The first Test at Trent Bridge began on Thursday, and the pacer was observed outside the venue.

It’s natural for a husband to support his wife in her important moments, but as Healy’s husband, Starc could easily have acquired a special pass to watch the game. Instead, the Australian pacer was photographed outside the stadium in a line waiting to enter the stadium.

A fan photographed the left-arm pacer wearing a blue shirt and pants standing among other individuals, and image has since gone viral on social media.

“Mitchell Starc is here of course, waiting in an already crowded queue to get into Trent Bridge for the opening day of the #WAshes Test with Alyssa Healy captaining for the first time,” a Twitter post wrote.
