Watch : Babar Azam and Virat Kohli meet before the match between India and Pakistan

The Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli met with each other during the net practice session at the Sharjah cricket ground where the second group stage game of the Asia Cup will be played between India and Pakistan on August 28. 

The Indian fans and followers reacted in versatile manner after watching the meet between these two Modern great cricketers. The Pakistan captain Babar Azam posted a tweet a few days earlier regarding a piece of advice to Kohli on his bad form with the bat, this shows a mutual respect between these two cricketers for each other. 

After this meet, Kohli was asked a few questions regarding his thoughts about Babar Azam on the Star Sports show, ‘Gane Plan’ so then he answered, “What happened in England was a pattern, so something that I could work on and something that I had to kind of overcome. Right now, as you rightly mentioned, there is nothing that you can point out saying that the problem is happening here”.

Later he added, “So, that for me, is actually an easier thing to process because I know that I’m batting well and at times, when I start feeling that rhythm back, then I know that I’m batting well. So, that for me is not an issue, which wasn’t the case in England; I didn’t feel like I was batting well at all. So, I had to work hard on one thing that could be exposed again and again which I overcame; right now this is not the case”.
