One of the most talented, Virat Kohli is an Indian International cricketer and former captain of the Indian National Cricket team. He is said to be playing for Delhi in domestic cricket, also as a right-handed batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Within the span of 2012-2021, this cricketer managed to score an approximate of 845 runs at the T20 matches.

At T20 World Cup of 2012, he managed to score around 147 runs by making it to the top 5 of that year’s tournament. This success was however, being followed by near around 247 runs in 2014’s T20 World Cup. Moreover, he scored around 238 runs on the T20 World Cup of 2016. In all these three tournaments, he registered it to the top 5 rankings. For him, one of the biggest achievements of this year was making it to top 5 at the Asia Cup with approximately 223 runs. 

However, the cricketer is said to kickstart his career in the year 2011. After that with his extraordinary performance, he managed to reach the number one spot in the ICC rankings for ODI batsmen for the first time in 2013. Besides this, he is said to achieve ‘Man of the Tournament’ for two times at the ICC World T20 (in 2014 and 2016).

Apart from all, he holds the world record of being the fastest to score 23,000 international runs. Virat Kohli is often considered as a person with refreshing honesty, and the one around whom Indian cricket revolves. Rather than this, he has been the recipient of notable awards. Within the period of 2013 to 2022, he served as the captain of Indian cricket team in 213 matches across all the formats. With 40 wins out of 68 matches, Kohli is one of the most successful Indian Test captains. Furthermore, he is considered as one of the greatest batsmen of all time.
