Vijay Hazare Trophy: On Sunday January 18th, 2026, the Vidarbha Cricket team defeated the Saurashtra Cricket team to win their first Vijay Hazare Trophy title by scoring 317 runs while batting first, and Saurashtra scored just 279 runs in reply.

In this match, Aman Mokhade, an opener for Vidarbha, was able to cross the 800-run mark to become only the third batsman ever to achieve this milestone in the same tournament (over 800 runs in a single tournament edition).

3. Aman Mokhade: 814 Runs

Ranked third on this list is Vidarbha cricket team batsman Aman Mokhade. In the 2025-26 edition, playing across a total of 10 innings, he made 814 runs at an impressive batting average of 90.44 and a strike rate of 109.26.

Additionally, this opening batsman for the Vidarbha team has now equaled the record held by Jagadeesan and Karun Nair for the most centuries 5 in a single edition of the tournament.
