Some World Cup ads and anthems, on the other hand, stand the test of time and remain relevant in perpetuity.
With the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 fast approaching, here are the top five cricket world cup anthems and advertising that have gone viral:
Nike – Bleed Blue

This commercial clearly depicts cricket’s connecting aspect. It did an excellent job of drawing parallels between the lives of our Indian team members and regular young people. Every cricketer in the advertising, the hero of the cricket team, gets up early and heads to their practice fields with the rest of the country’s youth utilizing a variety of modes of transportation.
They all utilize the bus or their own vehicle to get to their sacred training grounds. The film closes with each participant sprinting onto their respective pitches to begin a match. Everyone takes part, whether they are performing in front of a large crowd or trudging through a muddy field.
This exemplified how the pursuit of cricket unifies all those who take part in it. The sport drives its fans to embark on similar journeys regardless of their level of fame or wealth.
Appy Fizz – A cool drink to hang out with
The slogan for Appy Fizz – “A cool drink to hang out with” – inspired every geek to strive to be as cool as the Appy Fizz personification in this campaign. There are a lot of people sleeping, so the cool drink figures it would be nice to shout like a banshee and wake everyone up.
Whether you like it or not, the advertising went viral, and if you live in India, you will undoubtedly see a lot more Appy Fizz bottles in circulation. People began to abandon other fizzy drinks in favor of “the cool drink” to socialize with.
Pepsi – Change The Game
These adverts did an excellent job of tracking the mythical origins of some unusual and oftentimes fictitious cricket shots. Pallu Scoop is unlikely to be mentioned in the hallowed annals of a cricket legend. Despite their irony, these adverts demonstrated how a creative player can find incentive to innovate with his technique in the most unlikely of places.

The Pepsi T20 format of football also featured the motto “Change the Game.” It was successful in bringing together and connecting fans of the two sports. Ranbir Kapoor’s appearance added to the cool factor.
Come on India Dikha Do
The movie above, which may be played endlessly, shows famous Indian cricket heroes in their youth. This was a famous song that provided a booming bass to the “Come on India!” slogan.
This was more of a battle cry than a happy advertisement. In this video, Indian spectators are seen leaving their seats in a disturbed manner before one of them goes up on the barrier and cries, “Come on India!” The crowd gathers behind Shankar Mahadevan as he climbs the steps and sings out a song that will be remembered for years.
Nike – Just Do It
Nike’s first large cricket-related advertisement was a smash hit in India. Cricket and traffic are the two attributes that best represent India in this context. In this advertising, the two are beautifully integrated.
Why not turn the roof of a bus into a cricket field? It’s already at rest. When a bus transporting teenage cricketers becomes stuck in traffic, they decide to spend the time on the roof. When the cricket spirit takes hold, even an elephant decides to join in the fun after first being disliked by the people for causing property damage.
We are unlikely to come across such in any other country.
