1. Shahid Afridi (Pakistan): 153 meters

Shahid Afridi is considered as one of the most explosive batters in the history of cricket. With 476 international sixes, Afridi has been one of the most prolific six hitters. His longest six came against South Africa in 2013 which traveled 153 meters. It remains the longest six in cricket history. He smashed it against Ryan McLaren, which went out of the ground at Wanderers

2. Brett Lee (Australia): 130 meters

It is a wonder that a fast bowler has featured in the list. Brett Lee was feared by each batter for his ferocious attack. However, the world has also got a glimpse of his hitting ability with the bat. He smashed a 130-metre-long six in a game against West Indies off Darren Powell at Gabba.

3. Martin Guptill (New Zealand): 127 meters

Martin Guptill registered the third-longest six in cricket history when he hit a 127-meter maximum over mid-wicket in a T20I game against South Africa. The six against pacer Lonwabo Tsotsobe hit the roof of Westpac Stadium in Wellington.

4. Liam Livingstone (England): 122 meters

In the third and final T20I against Pakistan at Headingly in 2021, Liam Livingstone hit a six, which traveled 122 meters. It also became the longest six by an English batter.

5. Corey Anderson (New Zealand): 122 meters

Corey Anderson recorded a massive six in an ODI against India in 2014. It was a ball from Mohammad Shami at the Napier Cricket Ground which traveled 122 meters above the ground.

6. Mark Waugh (Australia): 120 meters

Mark Waugh hit one of the longest sixes during a test at WAC ground in Australia in 1997 against New Zealand.  He stepped down the ground to hit spinner Daniel Vettori for a 120-metre-long hit.

7. Yuvraj Singh (India): 119 meters

Yuvraj Singh’s longest six came in the semi-final of the 2007 T20 World Cup against Australia which was 119 meters long. Yuvraj flicked the ball delivered by pacer Brett Lee to send it off the park.

8. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India): 118 meters

 MS Dhoni registered the longest six in the ODI against New Zealand in 2009 in Auckland. He hit a 118-metre six which is one of the longest sixes by an Indian.

9.  Chris Gayle (West Indies): 116 meters

 Chris Gayle is known for his power-hitting. He was known for dealing only in fours and sixes. Gayle’s biggest six came in the match against India during the 2010 T20 World Cup. He smashed Yusaf Pathan for a six of 116-metre at Kensington Oval.

10. Ijaz Ahmed (Pakistan): 115 meters

Ijaz Ahmed hit a 115-metre six off Virender Sehwag in the game against India during the Pepsi Cup 1999. Known for his hitting abilities against the spinners, Ahmed recorded one of the longest sixes in cricket history.
