The Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Tamil Nadu and Arunachal Pradesh is when Tamil Nadu suffered the loss. His contribution enabled Tamil Nadu to score 506 runs with just two wickets lost. In his innings, Jagadeesan hit 25 fours and 15 sixes. In response, Arunachal Pradesh only managed to score 71 runs, giving Tamil Nadu a stunning 435-run victory.
Ali Brown: 268 runs
The top-order English batsman Ali Brown amassed 268 runs in a 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy match. English County Cricket held a cricket competition called the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. In just 160 balls, he scored 268 runs for Surrey against Glamorgan. 30 fours and 12 sixes were part of Brown’s innings. Surrey scored 438 runs in a high-scoring match, narrowly defeating Glamorgan by 9 runs as they came near to matching Surrey’s enormous total.
Rohit Sharma: 264 runs
The record for the greatest individual score in ODI cricket belongs to Rohit Sharma. Rohit smashed 33 fours and 9 sixes in 173 balls to score 264 runs. On November 13, 2014, he scored 264 runs in an ODI match at Eden Gardens against Sri Lanka. One of the most expensive drops in cricket history occurred when he was dropped while batting at 4* and led to 260 more runs. Sri Lanka scored 251 runs in response.
D’Arcy Short: 257 runs
The first Australian to appear on this list is D’Arcy Short. In 148 balls, Short scored 257 runs, hitting 15 fours and 23 sixes. His two-hundred-and-fifty helped Western Australia score 387 runs in all. Queensland responded with 271 runs but was defeated by 116 runs.
Shikhar Dhawan: 248 runs
When India A played South Africa A, Shikhar Dhawan scored 248 runs. In just 150 balls, he scored 248 runs in a knock that included 30 fours and 7 sixes. Dhawan after the match in an interview said, “When I got out in the 44th over it occurred to me that if I had batted till the end I had a chance to score a triple hundred. I am happy with what I scored though.” The triple hundred was clearly within reach, according to Lalchand Rajput, the India A coach at the time.
Prithvi Shaw: 244 runs
Prithvi Shaw’s 244-run innings in the Royal London One Day Cup on August 9, 2023, is the most recent score to appear on this list. Shaw struck 28 fours and 11 sixes in just 153 balls to score 244 runs. His contribution to Northamptonshire’s 415 run total. In response, Somerset scored 328 runs but fell short by 87 runs.

Thanks to Dunk’s performance, Tasmania helped Queensland reach its aim of 399 runs.
