The salary of Pakistani Cricketers in 2023

In this article, we will take a look at the salary of Pakistani cricketers based on the category in which they are placed.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is in charge of managing the Pakistan national cricket team, also known as Pak cricket, which is also known as the Shaheens, Green Shirts, Men in Green, and Cornered Tigers (PCB). The team competes in Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International cricket matches and is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council.

Based on the recently published central contract 2023–2022, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the salary of Pakistani cricketers. Three teenage cricketers are among the 20 players who have been featured on the contract list. The calendar year 2023-22 will stretch from July 1 to June 30, 2023. The most well-paid individuals in the Indian subcontinent are cricketers, who enjoy lavish lifestyles. They are paid very well considering all the work they put in on the pitch. Nonetheless, there has recently been much discussion concerning Pakistani players’ remuneration, particularly the gap in their pay. Pakistani cricketers are frequently overshadowed by other Asian cricketers with greater notoriety, while the Pakistani board is in disarray as a result of the absence of domestic matches. The key contracts for the 2023–2022 season were just made public by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Four categories have been established for the central contract. Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, and Babar Azam, the captain of the limited-overs team, are among the top players to receive category A. All players with grades of A, B, C, and Developing Category have had their pay raised by 25%.
