Bangladesh also crossed the 600-run mark only once. In March 2012, they scored 638 runs against Sri Lanka in Galle. Mohammad Ashraful made 190, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 200 and Nasir Hossain made 100. That match was also drawn.

8. New Zealand – 11 times

New Zealand scored 600 or more in Tests 11 times. They won 4 of those matches and 7 ended in draws. Their highest score came in March 2019 against Bangladesh in Hamilton. Their highest total was 903 for 7 declared against Australia in 1938 at The Oval. Leonard Hutton scored 364. Australia made 201 and 123 and England won by an innings and 579 runs.

2. India – 33 times

India scored 600 or more 33 times in Test cricket. They won 18 of these matches and 15 were draws. Their highest total came in 2016 in Chennai during the fifth Test against England. England made 477 in the first innings. Then Karun Nair scored 303 not out and KL Rahul made 199. India declared at 759 for 7 and won by an innings and 75 runs.

Australia have scored 600 or more the most times in Test cricket. They reached this mark 35 times. Out of these, they won 29 matches and only 6 were drawn. Their highest score came in 1955 in Kingston against West Indies. West Indies made 357 in the first innings. Then Australia made 758 for 8 declared with Neil Harvey scoring 204. West Indies were all out for 319 in their second innings and Australia won by an innings and 82 runs.
