India – 18 series wins (2013-2024)
Beating India in India has not been easy for visitors. Since 2010, Indian bowlers have dominated opponent batters on the home soil. India have not lost a test series at home since February 2013, and they have now registered 18 consecutive home series wins in tests and still counting. India’s last test series loss at home came against England in 2012.

The record for the ten consecutive home series wins in tests with Steve Waugh. He led Australia to become the best team in the game under his captaincy. They won all ten series at home between November 1994 and November 2000.

West Indies won eight consecutive test series wins at home between March 1976 and February 1986 under Clive Llyod’s captaincy, and they went on to win 27 consecutive tests between 1982 and 1984 during that phase.

The tough conditions in New Zealand make it difficult for the touring teams to win. The Kiwis have beaten every team in their history, but their longest winning streak was between 2017 and 2021, when they won eight consecutive test series at home. The achievement helped them reach the final of the WTC 2021 and they won the title.
