T20I Records: Lowest runs scored in a T20I match

There are hardly any T20I matches where the bowler dominates the batting side. Here is a look at one such match with the lowest runs scored in a T20I match.

Almost every year there are teams in T20 or T20Is breaking batting records for the highest totals. The T20 format is known to be a batter-dominated format. The hard-hitting batting has made it impossible to even think that a team can get bowled out for less than 70 runs. But do you know about a T20I match which only lasted 9 overs? Here is a look at the match with the lowest runs scored in a T20I match.

Leg-spinner, Lorne Burns was the third bowler used by Spain. In his first over, he dismissed bowlers, Fraser Clarke and Kieran Cawte. Both were dismissed in a similar manner as the Spanish keeper Awais Ahmed stumped both the tail-enders. Burns is one of the five bowlers to have picked two or more wickets without conceding a single run in T20Is. Isle of Man was bowled out for just 10 runs in 8.4 overs.
