The eighth over proved disastrous for KKR as Harsh Dubey dismissed both Rinku and Andre Russell in the course of consecutive balls. Russell was lbw trapped on the first ball, walking off before even the umpire could raise his finger.

Late Resistance by Rana and Pandey in Vain

Although Harshit Rana (34 off 21) and Manish Pandey (37 off 26) attempted a late turnaround, it was too little, too late. They did contribute rapid runs, which included 21 off the 16th over, but only helped postpone the inevitable.
