Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistan fast bowler, slammed Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis for implying that Mohammad Hasnain was tossing. Stoinis rolled his arms over while heading back to the dugout after being dismissed by the 22-year-old Pakistan bowler in a Hundred match between Southern Brave and Oval Invincibles, which spectators and analysts mistook for Hasnanin throwing. Stoinis, who represents the Southern Brave in the Hundred, was chastised by fans for supposedly imitating Hasnain’s bowling motion, but Shoaib Akhtar was the harshest critic.
Stoinis’ behaviour was described as “shameful” by Akhtar, who asked the ICC to take action because “no player should be permitted to do such things.” “Marcus Stoinis made a heinous gesture in response to Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling motion during #TheHundred2022. How could you do such things? Of course, ICC remains silent about them. No player should be permitted to do such things if someone has previously been cleared “Akhtar posted a photo collage of Stoinis and Hasnain on Twitter.
Shameful gesture by @MStoinis regarding bowling action of @MHasnainPak during #TheHundred2022 . How dare you do such things?? Ofcourse @ICC stays quiet about them.

Stoinis is not the first Australian cricketer who has criticised Hasnain’s bowling motion. Moises Henriques had accused the bowler of doing the same in the last Big Bash League season. Following a bouncer, Henriques exclaimed to Hasnain, “Nice throw, friend!”
Hasnain was found guilty of having an unlawful action, which was discovered when a Big Bash League umpire reported it. However, the Pakistani fast has been approved to bowl again after improving his technique and angle of release, while Stoinis may face disciplinary punishment for his behaviour on the field.
