The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India has finally announced and welcomed a new president to take the seat. Roger Binny will now be sitting in the chair of Sourav Ganguly and make critical decisions about the team and its functions primarily. Binny was one of the critical members who played a strong role in winning the 1983 World Cup. The internet is flooded with ‘Congratulations for the New President, Roger Binny’.
Yuvraj Singh takes to Twitter and States:
My best wishes to Mr. #RogerBinny on being elected as the new president of the @BCCI. I’m sure the board will benefit greatly from your experience.

He received several other congratulatory messages from former cricketers, politicians and other individuals. Binny has proved to be an asset for the team since the beginning and offered his expertise time and time again. Experts state that Ganguly was offered the position of an IPL Chairman, but he refused the same and wishes to continue to his home state and become a part of the CAB association.
There are other BCCI elections that need to be made and those will be done anonymously. Arun Dhumal shall be the IPL Chairman and govern the functioning of the teams and their schedules. Ganguly did not seem to be sad about the decision. He stated that, “I was the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal for five years. I have been president of BCCI for years. After all these terms, you have to leave and go. As an administrator, you have to contribute a lot and make things better for the team. Me being a player, who was around for a long time, understood it. I enjoyed my time as an administrator thoroughly. You cannot play forever, and you cannot remain in administration forever.”
The annual meeting saw that Ganguly lost the support of the BCCI and the team needed a new president. It is being said that under the leadership of Binny, the BCCI will see a brand-new change and will be completely different.
