Rishabh Pant’s Nutrition-Powered Recovery: De-Bloat Powder and Home-Cooked Meals Play Vital Role

Discover how nutrition, including de-bloat powder and carefully curated home-cooked meals, has been pivotal in cricketer Rishabh Pant’s remarkable recovery from injuries.

In the journey of Rishabh Pant’s recovery from injuries sustained in a car accident last year, the spotlight isn’t just on physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Surprisingly, nutrition has emerged as a significant factor in his ongoing healing process.

Before his accident, Rishabh Pant was advised by nutritionist Shweta Shah, founder of EatFit24/7, based on the recommendation of MS Dhoni. This year, Shweta played a pivotal role once again in resolving Rishabh’s post-accident issues through strategic nutrition.

Rishabh faced challenges in consuming food, leaving him energy-deprived and unable to pursue his physiotherapy and rehabilitation regimen. Shweta elaborated, “He had too many headaches, couldn’t even walk a few steps due to pain, and experienced stomach issues when attempting to eat.”

Despite being a hardcore chicken lover, Rishabh’s body reacted negatively to chicken consumption, causing stomach discomfort. Sweet and dosa, which were alternatives, resulted in gas, acidity, and bloating. His extensive medication led to stomach lining ruptures, requiring a return to a smoother lining.

Shweta’s approach focused on restoring Rishabh’s gut health and activating digestive processes. The “De-bloat by Eatfit 24/7” powder she introduced became a game-changer. This powder stimulated Rishabh’s Ayurvedic digestive fire, aiding proper digestion and nutrient absorption.

Shweta temporarily eliminated non-vegetarian food, introducing a khichdi diet for the first 20 days. Khichdi’s simplicity facilitated digestion, avoiding gas or bloating. Shweta emphasized, “Rishabh said it was the best diet he ever had.”

Khichdi comprised yellow and chilka dals, kolam rice, and preferred vegetables, accompanied by juices from the ninth and tenth days. Celery and cucumber juices combated water retention, pineapple juice reduced inflammation, and pomegranate juice purified blood.

Gradually, non-vegetarian food was reintroduced, initially through chicken curry and Thai chicken curry with rice. Gluten-free parathas and rotis became part of the diet. Energy-boosting haemoglobin laddoos, enriched with seeds, coconut, almonds, and honey, supplemented Rishabh’s recovery.

Shweta credited gond katira, a natural gum with anti-inflammatory properties, as a catalyst for Rishabh’s fast recovery. Green and white ORS sachets alleviated muscle cramps, while a morning digestive tea facilitated digestion.

Shweta designed home-cooked meals, emphasizing simplicity and easy absorption. The carefully curated diet optimized Rishabh’s recovery, with natural ingredients aiding healing and energy restoration. Shweta’s close coordination with Rishabh’s manager Puneet Solanki ensured seamless diet implementation.

As Rishabh’s fitness levels improved, the diet evolved, incorporating diverse foods like tikkis, sprouts, chaats, and gluten-free noodles. Throughout the recovery process, Rishabh displayed curiosity and willingness to understand the nutritional choices.

Shweta observed Rishabh’s remarkable appetite improvement within days. Starting with small quantities, Rishabh gradually transitioned to consuming full meals. As his health was restored, a potential second surgery in May was avoided.

With Rishabh’s dedication and the collective efforts of his support team, his journey to recovery has been exceptional. Rishabh’s return to cricket will be eagerly anticipated, with fans acknowledging the pivotal role of nutrition, de-bloat powder, and balanced home-cooked meals in his remarkable comeback.
